Gay marriage is quite a hot topic in both the US and the UK at the moment. Of course, same-sex marriages have no legal standing in Japan, but it is refreshing to see that the idea of gay couples seems to be gaining more acceptance. You may also have seen in the news that the first gay wedding was held at Tokyo Disneyland recently.
